I'm a dev that previously had a high powered desktop, then COVID happened and I had to move the desktop home with a friend from the office because I don't drive. The standard desktop builds didn't include the VPN settings because desktops don't move, right? Now I have a laptop I can WFH from and take into the office when I do, and it has higher specs than the desktop (VR more-than-capable) because we don't update hardware piecemeal due to leasing it. The only benefit of having a desktop for me would be to allow for more HDD bays internally.
