Without any qualitative data to back this up, these are merely the feelings and intuitions of some random web developer. While these feelings and intuitions may be largely accurate, without any actual evidence to support the hypothesis "These tactics lead to higher conversion rates" there's no reason anyone should take them remotely seriously. Just reads like a list of things everyone else is doing, and as we should all well know by now, conventional wisdom is often conventional, but seldom as wise we might think.
Now show me hard data from a properly designed and controlled experiment where you assess the objective conversion performance of websites before and after implementing these specific tactics and I'd take you a lot more seriously. Instead of just saying "Do these things" you should be saying "I did these things, and here's the data that show's how they affected conversion rates."
