Is chip manufacturing machines use so much of water? is it used for cooling or what this has been used for? can someone explain?

- genericone 5y agoIt might be because of all the reverse-osmosis and other purifying processes that give you some ratio of ultra-pure-water:slightly-unpure-water, which gets even more unbalanced for the smaller node sizes.
- missedthecue 5y agoIt also makes me wonder why many of the US chip plant plans are in Arizona.
