There are sooooo many boring coding jobs out there. Just keep looking. Don’t attach your happiness to things out of your control. Honestly, who gives a shit if you work for a FAANG? Most of those companies sound pretty bad for the average engineer (at least from what I’ve read on HN). Find happiness outside of work and your salary, because at the end of all of our lives it doesn’t matter how much money we made or if we worked for Facebook or Apple. It’s the memories you had and the memories you instilled in others that remains. (And that only remains for a few generations)
