Sorry about your problems but I'm impressed you can engage in high risk drinking. I over indulged a few times in my 20's but as I got older even casual drinking started seeming more and more like work. I'm in my 50's now and a glass of wine at home is more bother then I can manage. The only times I've had a glass is when I'm out having dinner and I don't think I finished it the last time that happened.
I remember when I turned 40 asking a slightly older friend if I'd still be able to party late into the night. She said I'd still be able to I just wouldn't want to. 50+ has been that extended to so many other things that I'm pretty sure I used to really enjoy.
- zabzonk 5y ago> Sorry about your problems Please don't be - they are all (or almost all) of my causing, one way or another. I'm coming up on three-score years and ten (official biblical lifespan) and alcohol has always been part of my life, from my mid-teens. I have given up on tobacco, dope and other things long ago, so it really is my only addiction. And you can't live forever. I do not recommend this to everyone.
