How Long Can Taiwan’s PCB Industry Hold Against China?
- synergy20 5y agoThought 80% PCB are already made in China, did not realize TW still has 33%, are those factories in mainland China though?
- tluyben2 5y agoWonder if they are making their own machines now. We used Chinese factories up to a few years ago and I went to them quite a lot, especially the one creating our end product but also others in the supply chain and all the robots and printing machines etc were not Chinese (Japanese and German I saw mostly). I asked why not and the answer was that the ones made in China were just not that good (in terms of reliability and accuracy). We did mostly fully assembled flex pcbs. We moves production to the US since.
