Firstly, this only affects North American Nissan vehicles and while the Leaf was the best selling BEV for many years, the sales were not huge. Second, the existing CHAdeMO connectors will not be going away anytime soon, they are just not installing new ones. So if you have a spot you normally charge at now you can continue to use that for the foreseeable future.
