This is bad news for current electric Nissan owners. Sadly there has not been much progress on an CHAdeMO to CCS conversion offerings for these vehicles (either as a hardware upgrade on the car itself or as an external adapter).
- Corrado 5y agoYes, but I'm not so sure it will actually have much impact in a real world sense. Firstly, this only affects North American Nissan vehicles and while the Leaf was the best selling BEV for many years, the sales were not huge. Second, the existing CHAdeMO connectors will not be going away anytime soon, they are just not installing new ones. So if you have a spot you normally charge at now you can continue to use that for the foreseeable future.
