KeyCastr – Open-source keystroke visualizer
- andymoe 5y agoThis is super great for pair programming especially when one of the pairs is trying to ramp up. Hat tip to all the Pivotal Labs folks who worked on this.
- luke2m 5y agoIs there anything like this for Linux?

- steveharman 5y agoNowhere in the readme does it explain what a keystroke visualizer actually is.
- jdlshore 5y agoIt shows what you type on screen. For example, if you press Ctrl-C, it shows that on the screen. It’s useful for screencasts.
- jibbers 5y agoThis is awesome! It works on more than just the latest macOS, is free and open source, and is only 6 MB. A commercial alternative for $14 https://ixeau.com/keystroke-pro/ https://ixeau.com/keystroke-pro/
