I don't think the article suggests anything be banned. Just that denying biological sex and insisting that transgender persons are no different can have dire consequences. Especially regarding doctors treating patients. The article details a transgender man who was sick, but because no one wanted to call him transgender and everyone kept insisting he was a man, they were a bit surprised to find out it was due to pregnancy. It was a possibility they had not considered. It might have been diagnosed much sooner. [Somebody was offended by this article, but apparently deleted the comment.]
