Some of the parents in that room are full time parents. They are engaged with their child from the moment the child wakes them up until the moment that child goes to bed, and then they'll probably be engaged again when that child wakes up in the middle of the night. Just like I need breaks from work to function better during the non-breaks, those parents need time for their brains to relax a bit. That's super normal.
