Most other (good?!) languages should allow you to define monadic data structures fairly easily. Many languages are able to make use of monads, the difference being that Haskell leaves you (almost) no other option.
- time_to_man_up 15y agoThe problem is most languages don't have an analogue to Haskell type classes. So it's kind of impossible to write code that applies to all monads.
