Liberal democracies should not cede ethically troubling neuroscience to China
- hall0ween 5y agoI highly disagree with the article because the model animal used in research is highly dependent on the question being asked (which isn’t mentioned directly at all). Author takes a competition approach - “we’ll lose out on all the sweet monkey data!” IMO, in neuroscience the tools are advanced enough (without using primates), it’s our institutional structure and our languages that can’t cope.
