Show HN: Dear Intern
- saturdayplace 5y agoI was so enamored of the Twitter responses to the HBO intern's test email, that I decided to build a site that could collect and curate these kinds of "I also made a professional mistake, it's OK" stories. Mine is the first user-submitted one on the site, I would love to hear more. Please share your own stories with the rest of the world and normalize learning from mistakes. Thanks!
- bredren 5y agoI had a related idea in 2009, building a Twitter bot called @sorrymom. The idea was you tell it something “bad” you have done, and she reassures you it is okay.
- splatzone 5y agoNice gesture. It’s reassuring to remember many people have screwed massively at work, and it’s almost always because of a broken process rather than a failure of their abilities
- barbarbar 5y agoThe horror when cassie realised she was using the wrong calendar. They should have said something.

- quickthrower2 5y agoCould be the new dailywtf!
- pragmatic8 5y agoIt was just an email, no? I’d feel a little weird if people that took down entire services were telling me that it’s “ok”.
