Why would you lump PWAs and AMP pages together? They're hardly the same problem. PWAs are a threat to the App Store model. It's obvious that it would spawn a new category of apps that effectively enable sideloading. You've got access to all the native functions too (sensors, camera, storage). Apple doesn't want that. So they drag their feet when it comes to support.
