Lots of big cities outside Europe (even in America) have good public transit. I live in the Washington, DC area and don't drive but use the Metro, buses, and regional trains. However, I wouldn't recommend sleeping on them in America or elsewhere unless you don't mind your valuables going missing.
- upgrejd 5y agoI regularly slept on a bus when I commuted for ~40 minutes. Granted, that job lasted only 3 months but nothing got stolen. This was in Slovakia.
