Right, I think there’s a lot of value in helping people capitalize on an audience they already have. Build your audience on Twitter or twitch or whatever and then you can go from there. By the way it’s a bit cute to describe some of these authors as simply having “gotten an audience elsewhere”- the other part is how these people get chased out and barred from typical media careers.
