- rvz 5y agoThey will never change. It's only going to get worse as the world enjoys their new remotely controlled telecommunications devices.

- meowface 5y agoEh, I think it's plausible that in 20 years almost all critical code will be written in memory-safe languages and that this particular bug class will essentially be eliminated for new software. There'll always still be RCE bugs of some kind, but it's probably going to get harder and harder to find them, exploit them, and escape sandboxes and mitigations.
