Covid-19 antibodies detected in 67% of India's population

- Barrin92 5y agothat's a pretty wild number given that the officially confirmed count for India is 30 million cases. If the 67% are even remotely accurate that's three times more cases in India alone than globally confirmed by tests.
- AndrewBissell 5y agoWorth pointing out that some of the antibodies are known to have come from vaccines. But yes, confirmed case counts are probably vastly undercounting the actual number of infections.
- zdragnar 5y ago3x isn't surprising given the rates of asymptomatic cases and lack of access to testing in many areas (or lack of reason to get tested since healthcare wasn't available anyway).
