It's interesting that when you follow the link [0] to the Google Enterprise API policy you don't really find anything corresponding to the strong backward compatibility language quoted from Kripa Krishnan. I'm also not convinced that the stuff about the ex-Oracle guy bringing in "legions of Enterprise salespeople" is as reassuring as they think. The article reads a lot like a veneer of reporting around a PR press release...
