Safety regulations for E/E systems (which includes electrical and software components) in automotive are done via "self-certification" and adjudicated via post-facto liability suits. There's no FAA or FDA like regulator for automotive currently. As such, I'm not sure who would/could step in and regulate Tesla currently.
- me_me_me 5y agoThis microwave is only safe to be operated when unplugged, any use out of its define safe operating parameters voids any responsibility of company.
