Despite talk of the environment in the recent G7 meeting, I suspect it's going to take a backseat to economic recovery. You have the ongoing issues from Brexit and the fact that the government (and their opposition) have an impossible standard for COVID vaccine success.
Also I'd be interested to hear what you want to see Westminster do. I've heard a lot of ideas being thrown around, but I remain sceptical.

I would urge against asking for change simply because you find a problem - the proposed solution may end up being worse in the long run. There are multiple examples of this in the global warming context. For example, every government used to ship their recycling rubbish all the way around the world to places like China, who would then just sit on it or fill up their own landfills. Another example is a biodegradable plastic bag that ended up hindering the composting process more than the original plastic. Another example is a CFC reduction program, where reducing the amount of certain chemicals would earn 'green points' that could be negated from carbon emissions - governments just started purposely creating these dangerous chemicals and destroying them in order to earn points to offset against their emissions.
