I'm not sure about that because places like Japan, Korea and the UAE are very ethnically homogeneous, but my impression is that they are quite individualistic.

I'm not sure about that because places like Japan, Korea and the UAE are very ethnically homogeneous, but my impression is that they are quite individualistic. Although from skimming Wikipedia, Korea and Japan have extremely low levels of homelessness so maybe there is a link!
- ketzu 5y agoKorea and Japan are usually some of the first examples when discussing individualistic vs collectivistic cultures, where they are examples for colectivistic cultures.
