I have been really interested in general relativity and watching youtube videos for the past few months. I understood all the words (I would not have a year ago.) I think it does have enough detail to understand what they're saying. There's a lot missing, but I assume you'd go to the paper for that. But I think the article is well written. It essentially says, "We think this interesting thing is true. It has these nice properties, and should be provable/falsifiable. Please help us prove it!"
