- Sharlin 5y agoGravity is extremely well described by general relativity. What we do lack is a quantum version of GR, but that does not change the fact that we understand gravity very well, at least in the sense of the word that physicists are used to.

Physicists seem to focus on the few simple solutions to Einstein's field equations that people have found through educated guessing, but there a ton of questions about the field equations that are open to this day.
