Acre feet. The article literally used acre feet to measure amount of water. Is 1 acre foot 10000 cubic meters? Or is it more like a 1000 liters? I have no idea, journalists should communicate their information more clearly.

When you're dealing with covering agricultural land (I guess measured in acres) with water you might want to know how many acres you can cover in a particular depth of water.
- watersb 5y agoAcre-foot is the standard unit of agricultural water in the United States.
