Dubai Makes Artificial Rain with Drones That Shock Clouds
- rapjr9 5y agoWill this start a competition to pull water out of the sky before it drifts away to other places? If any country can make it rain, will the countries downwind suffer? When the dryer air moves over the oceans will water uptake from the oceans increase, thus reducing the rise of the seas? (Redistributing ocean water to the land essentially.) If this really works does that mean controlling the weather is about to become a new weapon? How many drones are needed to cause rainfall over a square mile, over 100 miles square, over 1000 miles square? Could lasers ionizing the air cause the same effect? Done cooperatively across the world would this allow some degree of control over the weather? So many questions... China seems to already have plans to affect weather on a fairly large scale using cloud seeding, injecting stuff into the air up in the Himalayas. https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/03/asia/china-weather-modification-cloud-seeding-intl-hnk/index.html https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/03/asia/china-weather-modificati... https://gizmodo.com/the-united-arab-emirates-is-creating-artificial-rainsto-1847351652 https://gizmodo.com/the-united-arab-emirates-is-creating-art...
