Fact check: Jeff Bezos is not an alien, nor a reptile
- fancyfredbot 5y agoWell that's a relief.
- robbedpeter 5y ago"Based on our research, we rate FALSE the claim that there is an alien’s face in Bezos' neck," I think I'd be a little irritated to be one of the people whose money paid for this.
- iudqnolq 5y ago> Our fact-check work is supported in part by a grant from Facebook Seems right up their alley
- ergot_vacation 5y ago"Nor a reptile." I'm doubtful.
- peakaboo 5y agoArticle designed to make conspiracy theorists look dumb.
- agucova 5y ago“USA TODAY could find no scientific evidence that it's possible for reptiles or aliens to mask themselves as humans.” So did they like... Search the literature?
- samwestdev 5y agoWhat about Mark Zuckerberg?
- type0 5y agoI don't know what he is, but he admitted on video that he is not a human any longer.
- coldtea 5y ago"Of course, that's what THEY'd say!" It might be fun to laugh at conspiracy theories concerning aliens and reptiles, but in saying the above, conspiracy theorists do have a point, and there's also a lesson that's applicable in general, which I can summarise as: Fact checking (or any kind of fact serving) is worth shit if it's done by someone with (or which serves) interests counter to you. For the same reason you shouldn't hire a lawyer recommended to you by the person that you're suing.
- type0 5y agoUntil he provides a non-falsifiable evidence in form of his DNA and that it was taken from him spcifically, so that it can be sequenced and compared we shouldn't believe such broad claims like that.
