I remember when 4G coverage was new, I was out and about one day when I got a notification on my work phone that I had a zillion app updates pending and I just pressed "Install All". 10 minutes later it had chewed through my data quota for the month. Sometimes bandwidth just isn't all that useful.
- est31 5y agoMore available bandwidth on the spectrum means more ability to send it to customers, which means that carriers can offer contracts with better conditions for the customers (cheaper, more data quotas, etc).
