normally the first 3 months you are in a new job you are on probation to see if you are a good fit for the company... but the company is also on probation from you! if the company is not a good fit for you it's ok to let them know.
In advance...
PS: the on example you put about the presentation wouldn't make me want to quit, but I'm sure there are other things in your decision.
- readonthegoapp 5y agothe prezo thing is enough for me, but yes there are other things. it's not necessarily that one thing, it's the philosophy and future expected behavior that it represents. i.e. i don't expect it to be a one-off. but yes lots of other things. oddly, i am actually on a 3-month trial -- which I thought was really strange but, just didn't care either way. but are you saying i could give a 1-month notice? i mean, i _could_, but why would i? same idea, hope for a miracle? my ideal situation would be to stay, i think, because the position could, in theory, be at least ok -- sustainable -- and that's about all you can hope for sometimes.
- elviejo 5y agomost probably it won't get better. I think you should leave the position since it is obvious you are unstaisfied. What I'm saying is that you are in three month trial period, to see if you are a good fit for the company. But the company is also in a trial period with you. The relationship is reciprocal, so since you don't really like it there I think you should leave. No shame in that.
