As someone who is unfamiliar with f-droid - how does it work? So I need to somehow crack my phone to use it? Would installing it void a Samsung warranty or prevent me from access to my carrier’s network or from receiving OS updates?
- ChuckNorris89 5y agoYou don't need to crack anything. Just download and install the F-Droid app store[1] and agree to the security prompt where your phone asks if you trust installing apps from this source, then you're off to the races. [1]https://www.f-droid.org/ https://www.f-droid.org/

- progre 5y agoYup, exactly what I did, turns out my download was corrupt. Downloaded again, and it installed fine.

- progre 5y agoYes, turns out the downloaded apk was corrupt. I did a new download and it installed fine.
