I know a lot of railroad workers..specifically train crews. It is a great job requiring little education…. Unionized, good pay…lots of time off. It ain’t a 9 to 5 gig…but lots make their miles in the first 20 days of the month and take the next 10 days off….and that says nothing about their generous vacation package. That said… I have also never met a group that complains more (about everything) or talks more about how much money they make.
