- stephen_g 5y agoI'm not super familiar with power systems, but as far as I've seen in Australia, higher voltage ABC mostly only comes in 11 or 22kV (distribution), not 33kV and up which this seems to be talking about (feeder/transmission). You do seem to be able to buy 33kV ABC from China but not sure if it would meet Australian Standards. Looking at Wikipedia's page on ABC though, it says that even older 11/22kV ABC is being replaced to underground in Australia because the insulation can degrade and it can cause fires too.
