I had my Twitter locked for a rude post that I made at someone I blocked. I do not understand why I should give anywhere near a polite response to someone who manages to slip past a very clearly articulated access control preference. It is reasonable to expect if someone tells the Twitter servers someone is unwanted that future surfacing of their posts may trigger an intense reply.
