1) THC to CBD ratio in Cannabis has been intentionally increased in favor of THC. 2) Cannabis is more and more cut with synthetic cannabinoids which are notoriously bad for the brain and mind. 3) Long-term Cannabis use is not evenly distributed but focused on people with a certain personality open for such an experience. 4) Cannabis has been and still is illegal in most places. That alone will foster a tendency for paranoia. 5) Just as with other drugs, some people aren't able to control their consumption and that's never good for you. 6) Long-term Cannabis enjoyment in the face of prohibition will solidify the realisation that our society is inherently fascist and narrow-minded. (I can confirm that from personal experience.)
