“In the age of information, ignorance is a choice.” Or is it?
- coldtea 5y agoToo much information of all kinds is noise, so it's analogous to no information at all.
- BitwiseFool 5y agoInformation is effectively unlimited. Attention is not. It's very popular to call someone "willfully ignorant" when they either disagree with you or they don't know about problem [xyz]. But there are an infinite amount of issues in this world and there is simply no way to be concerned about enough to make others happy. Everyone has their own worries and life to live.
