Uber and Lyft Drivers Are Being Carjacked at Alarming Rates
- Bostonian 5y agoThe companies are being criticized for not protecting the drivers, but I think the problem is part of a general increase in lawlessness, as evidenced by the spike in murder. Female drivers should be allowed to restrict themselves to female passengers, at least at certain times of the day (and I say this as a male).
- samizdis 5y agoAgreed. In the UK, quite a few women-only cab/car companies have been launched in recent years, operating in London, Manchester, Cardiff and a few other large cities. Many of them also offer services for picking up children.
