If Amnesty stands by something, better to steer away from it
- antiterra 5y agoWhat makes Amnesty not credible to you in general? What reason do you have to doubt their credibility in this specific situation, particularly over NSO Group?
- bronzeage 5y agoIt's enough to see how biased amnesty is when it comes to Israel. They judge the IDF by standards that are impossible for any army to attain, despite the incredible lengths IDF goes further than any other army in the world to prevent damage to innocent. They also tend to invite anti semitic people to their events, people who shamelessly call for the destruction of Israel. That organisation has deep anti semitic roots so I wouldn't expect them to apply high evidentiary standards if it suits their narrative of "Israeli company bad". Although I don't doubt NSO is bad - I do doubt it's the NSO's interest to allow prime ministers to be hacked.
- cyanydeez 5y agoprobably because theres more money out there from the people amnesty highlights. the us has demonstrated since 2016, the big money is on the worse humans have to offer
