aren't retweets and/or likes kinda the same as upvotes?
- devmunchies 5y agoa downvote cancels out somebody else's upvote. its like being able to remove "hearts" from a post. i don't like it at all. it trains people to be even more hyper-sensitive to judgement. also encourages tyranny of the 99 over the 1. Extinguishes any eccentric ideas.
