Set up servers at linode and use the linode node balancer? > Being able to define the whole architecture in a declarative way With k8s (and other 'cloud' stuff) you seem to need to know a whole mess of a lot of the tool's stuff up front, vs a "progressive enhancement" way of doing one thing, getting it working, doing something else, getting it working, etc.
