If I have a company, and we use your service to generate our AWS infrastructure. If there is a bug in your service that causes a misconfigured something that causes downtime to my company, leaking pii/customer info, etc. How much liability are you taking on? Can we sue you?
- igorzij 5y agoOn the Standard plan we don't take on any liability; but keep in mind that it's all git-based workflow with rollback to any state possible. And TF is mature enough to make glitches extremely unlikely. And we enforce least-privilege principle. On the Enterprise plan we are more flexible, and you get things like PCI-DSS, SOC2 etc. We could also act as an "automated DevOps consultancy" with a legal arrangement similar to that of an agency (with liabilities on) but without actually providing services beyond enterprise-level support.
