- igorzij 5y agoConvox like many other great tools (Cast.ai, Garden.io, Shipa.io, Kubesail) are trying to solve this problem around Kubernetes. But K8S is not a solution to all devops problems. It's just a container orchestration engine with a strong ecosystem of instrumentation around it. In reality people also need databases, queues, functions, storage, domains and a bunch of other things that are very well solved by cloud-native managed services. The problem is the glue connecting all of them. What we do in Digger is automating this glue. Kubernetes or not actually doesn't matter. Our default orchestration engine is ECS Fargate just because it's so worry-free. But you can totally switch to K8S. The value of Digger is automating DevOps - not automating K8S cluster management.
