There are already adapters for J1772 to Tesla, and the Teslas sold in Europe already have CCS ports because the EU mandated this. IMO it's not as big of a problem as people imagine. What likely will end up happening, long term, is that Tesla will switch to CCS plugs in the US as well, and retrofit their older cars.
