"The submission" I reference in my comment is the GitHub issue submitted to Hacker News that we are now commenting on, which is not the original comment, but a response to Audacity's moderation of its own repository.
- martimarkov 5y agoI mean it's in a response to the one I mentioned. This should not be seen and only considered in isolation. The backstory and events play a part. No self-respecting Open Source project should ban you for simply asking a question. I don't consider it entitlement to then go back and address the reaction specifically. At the very least both sides show emotions. One is hurt from the lack of openness, the other from being questioned at all.
