All 1,2 and 5 eurocent coins are copper-clad steel. Much less worth. I guess EU learned something.

- dheera 5y agoUS pennies from 1943 were made of steel, but they went right back to copper the year after. There were also a few in 1943 made of bronze, if you find one of those they'd be worth several hundred thousand dollars. And then since 1982 they are made of zinc with copper plating.
