Kids of those ages are routinely tried as adults.
You're going to have to let all those minorities out of prison who were tried as adults at 14 before I can even begin to subscribe to your logic about 17 year olds.
- sjg007 5y agoThe UK and the US need a joint prosecution agreement where the kid gets prosecuted in the UK for the crime and the punishment is deemed reasonable between both countries. I'm guessing something like this may already exist. This will only work for crimes at similar levels but there are enough of those that matter.
