- MeinBlutIstBlau 5y agoI know these projects are cool and I'm not slighting it at all. It's work and it's hard. My confusion with these things (through a school or on your own) is how often do these continue development? How many were done at semester end, and thusly dropped forever? It seems like engineering without a long term purpose. I knew a girl who make a robotic face that makes expressions for helping people with autism. Upon graduation, she now makes websitesand doesn't help autistic children with her project. It just feels like these endeavors are for personal clout and not to actual do good. And for some reason in this society we champion this behavior. It makes no sense to me.
