Nothing in the comment you replied to mentioned "trust" but since you raised the issue I did a search. It seems there are actually people commenting online who claim they do not trust Google; this has been going on for years. Can you believe it. Their CEO has called it out multiple times.^1 "[S]tupid waste of thought", as you call it. (That's not what I would call it.)
