- ww520 5y agoWhat has happened to Simple? I have seen their TV ad non-stopped for a while, then it stopped.
- hestefisk 5y agoBBVA bought them in 2017 and killed it 3 years later.
- toomuchtodo 5y agoPNC acquired all of BBVA's US banking business recently.
- tadfisher 5y agoBBVA bought Simple in 2014, and killed us in 2021, so they kept us on for a good 6 years. I was honestly surprised they didn't do it earlier, such as when they axed the whole C-suite in 2017.
- yurishimo 5y agoThis isn't a consumer service; it's for business customers already using Square for payments and other business related expenses.
