That's off by an order of magnitude. The GE9X produces about 500 kN, while the original Soyuz produced about 4.5 MN at lift-off.

- Denvercoder9 5y agoIt depends on what you exactly mean by rocket propellant. RP-1 is just refined kerosene and a GE9X won't really notice the difference.
- AKSucks 5y agoProbably should have said soyuz rocket engine, my bad...though I guess it would have been more proper to say "one of the Vostok-K booster engines" of which there were four.
